Some might say “choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work another day in your life”. Whilst not strictly true (have you seen my editing pile??) I adore photographing weddings, and my enthusiasm is there for all to see. There are many things that excite and give me a kick, obviously it’s a wedding day! The creation of something unique to you, the meeting of so many wonderful people, not to mention the vast array of sweet stalls I have made friends with. The real satisfaction for me however, comes from the genuine joy you lovely lot get on receipt of wedding photos. Unfortunately I don’t have the ‘thank you’ whisky or chocolates as evidence anymore, they have been filed away under belly. All that remains are empty bottles, amazing cards, and blush-worthy reviews that have been left on my various social media pages. And of course the memories, of which there are many. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much to everyone that I have photographed, I wish you many years of love and happiness. Looking forward now to photographing all the weddings I have booked for 2017, I literally cannot wait to make and create thousands more memories.

The few other photographers that we had considered lived miles away and as luck would have it James was local to our wedding venue. “Just under 3 weeks ago James was our wedding photographer and we couldn’t have been happier with both how he was on the day and the end result, which we already have on USB. All our guests commented on how amazing he was, he blended in well, was not intrusive in any way while taking photos and was also happy to sit down for dinner and chat with our guests!
James made us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera which I thought would be quite a challenge for my new husband! There were lots of laughs and this has been well and truly captured on camera!
Our photos are simply amazing, he has captured the day so beautifully giving us great memories. Natural shots are definitely the best and this is what James does best. The photos tell a story which is exactly what we were hoping for. And I didn’t need to worry about the miserable weather spoiling them! Everyone got a bit emotional viewing the slideshow, particularly my mum!

“Well where do we start with James? Friends of ours got married a couple of years ago and posted their photos online for all to see. We were instantly struck by the style of them. They seemed so relaxed and creative and we loved the fact so many of the photos captured aspects of the wedding you just don’t see in formal shots.
We contacted James and he kindly agreed to come for a visit and a chat, I think within minutes we knew we’d found our guy. We wanted someone who had a similar personality to us and we certainly got that with James, he just “got” what we wanted to capture on the day.
On the day itself James couldn’t have been anymore brilliant, he made everyone feel so comfortable with gentle direction and lots of great ideas (our outside in the rain photo is one of our favourites).
