Hengrave Hall in Suffolk today you lovely people, what a place for a wedding! I’ve got to be honest and say I often feel really fake writing these blog posts, waxing lyrical about wonderful the couples are. The fact is I am no sycophant, I really do mean it! I think the fact is, I tend to book like minded people, folk that are up for good fun on the day and are happy to just to go with the flow. India and Steve were no exception to the rule, an absolutely hilarious couple with stacks of energy and enthusiasm and ready for a belter of a day. All of which was helped along by the fact Hengrave Hall is just sublime, a Tudor manor steeped in history just north of Bury St Edmunds. There were a couple of little’uns that played a massive part in the wedding day too…their 2 Daxon dogs, Rufus and Saffron of course! It’s the first time I’ve had the doggies walking up the aisle and it was absolutely brilliant. As you can see from the images it was a military wedding, and these guys and gals really let loose and had the best possible time in one of the best Suffolk wedding venues. India’s Dad is a Chelsea pensioner and no doubt he has many stories, his speech was so heartfelt and touching. Genuinely everything about the wedding day was perfect and they looked after little old me so well. I could have partied all night long with them but alas I was shooting a wedding the following day too otherwise I’d have made (another) cameo on the dance floor. With that in mind, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Steve swung his beautiful bride India around during the first dance. Hilarious stuff, and such stunning people through and through. No doubt they have many more happy years and memories to come. I’m just glad I was there to capture their wedding day and give them something to remember. Here we have a selection of pics from their stunning day, hope you enjoy!
