My first blog post of the year, a wedding coming straight from Spixworth Hall Cottages. Norfolk has some amazing wedding venues most of which I’ve had the pleasure to document, but this was my first time photographing here. Wow, what a place. I loved it! I do love a bit of barn action, and that coupled with farm outbuildings and some moody skies and you’ve got the perfect recipe for some uber cool photography. Well, at least I think so! Anyway, enough about me and the weather, let’s talk about being in love and getting married eh? Today’s offerings are graced by the super lovely Stevie & Blue and their merry band of family and friends. Instantly welcomed, and made to feel a part of the crew, I knew it was going to be a belter of a wedding day. We started with a bit of bridal preps at Spixworth Cottages, such gorgeous accommodation for both the bride and groom to be getting ready. Then from there it was a quick whizz into Norwich for the ceremony at Christ Church Eaton. The ceremony was beautiful and everything was as perfect as could be. And a quick mention must go to the vocals of Patrick the vicar. Quite a fantastic set of lungs! On arrival back at Spixworth Hall I could see the weather was turning so we quickly photographed some group shots, couple shots and bridal party pics before the heavens opened. Check out the moody skies in the pictures, and the wind too. Was a battle keeping keeping the hair out of everyones faces, not for me though as I’m bald as a coot. It has it’s advantages. Then the speeches, well, what can i say? Plenty of tears and joy, Stevie and Blue both let loose bless them. A bunch of crackers though and as you can see from the photos we had an awesome day, and got a bunch of beautiful wedding images. Have a browse down and see what you think. And if you’re considering Spixworth Hall Cottages as a venue, go check it out. Enjoy!
