Today’s instalment of wedding joy is direct from The Boathouse in Ormesby St Margaret, Norfolk. Absolute belter of a venue with an incredible view over an amazing expanse of water. And most of that was falling from the skies today! Wowzers the weather was a dog, but the wedding day was just blooming lovely. Everyone hopes for amazing weather on their wedding day, and you know what, sun is good. However, and you’ll be pleased to hear this, the rain never dampens the day. Pun totally intended. As it happens The Boathouse has a lovely interior with spectacular views, so it didn’t matter one bit. Leanne and David were the lucky couple to tie the knot today, made even more special by the fact the Groom is my Cousin. It was going to be a day of family, fun and photography! The sun came not long after the ceremony and we took a quick jaunt out on the boat. So serene and peaceful, a lovely way to take a few moments to themselves. Even with me taking their photograph, but that’s ok I’m the cousin. You get special licence to do what you want as the cousin. To be honest I just did what i do at every wedding. To enjoy myself, and take as many fab pictures as I possibly can. There were lots of drunk cousins and mad uncles and everything you would expect at a wedding, just on this occasion, I was related to lots of them! That now officially makes me a mad uncle I believe. And proud I am to be too, such a lovely family I’m blessed to be a part of and great to get to know some of Leanne’s family too. Obviously the work hat came off after the first dance, and I got involved and partied the night away with everyone.
