The Granary Estates | Amy & Sean | Newmarket Wedding
Welcome to the wedding of a couple of absolute legends, at The Granary Estates. Amy & Sean, a couple who laughed all day long and made me laugh even more. What a couple of beauties! The Granary Estates are set in the countryside of Woodditton near Newmarket and it was my first venture to the venue. A really lovely place with a great team who looked after me and the wedding guests all day long. This was the reception though, I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s back it up to the beginning of the day where I started with Amy and the bridal preparations. I was greeted by the biggest smile, and a lovely warm and welcoming family. The girls had bags of banter and it was a lovely way to start the day. The wedding was at St Andrew’s Church in Isleham, and I arrived just in time to head the groomsmen off at the pass. A cracking bunch of lads who would later put me through my paces on the dance floor….little did I know! The ceremony was perfect and everything ran smoothly, tons of emotion and laughter, and a reading from Sean’s Grandad which was just wonderful. After a cheeky skip across counties, I think so anyway, the wedding was pretty much of the Suffolk Cambridgeshire border so I was never sure where we were. Reassuring coming from the wedding photographer! Well you’ll be pleased to know I didn’t miss a thing and once we hit The Granary Estates the fun didn’t take long to rear it’s head. Bagged loads of natural shots and the boys and girls wanted to go outside and do some ‘fun’ shots. Off we went and as you can see from the images, they had no problem striking a pose. Took very little persuasion and I believe it was someone else’s idea to have Amy pulling a horsecart with all the bridesmaids on it! I nearly wet myself laughing, but thankfully I didn’t as later in the day the old dance floor dance off came into play. Loads of guests on the dance floor and yep, little old me is called up to strut my funky stuff with what it felt like 200 people watching me. I went for ‘Mr Brightside’ and unashamedly started cutting some shapes. Within seconds the dance floor was rammed and everyone was dancing like it was the last of dance of their lives! Great atmosphere, great people, amazing wedding.
