This wedding at Sussex Barn (as the first possibly picture gives away) is a few months old! Excuse the cheese, but Matt & Lydia’s wedding pictures (I hope) won’t get ever get old for them! Sussex Barn is situated in Burnham Market, North Norfolk and is a real gem of a venue to get married. As you can see from the images their wedding day was an absolute blast, and they were over the moon when they received the photos. A lot of us wedding photographer’s rattle on about how great the couples are, and how lucky we are to do what we do for a living. I can tell you it’s all true! In fact I feel myself verging on smugness sometimes when people ask what I do for a living, and I find myself having to rein it in a little. The three of us got on famously from the first meeting, and subsequently met a few times before the wedding just for an excuse to go for a drink, and occasionally talk about wedding plans of course. On the wedding day, Sussex Barn and the wonderful wedding co-ordinator Emma Newling did a smashing job. The weather wasn’t too shabby either at the tail end of the summer season. We shot the couple photo’s at dusk and did some cool flash photography to squeeze out the available light left in the day. The whole wedding from start to finish was a total joy, and as ever I came home thinking what a lucky fella I am to be doing what I’m doing. Anyway, smugness taking over so I’ll leave it at that!
