A wonderful wedding today at The Red Barn in Shouldham. Norfolk is a fantastic place to tie the knot. This beautiful and equally hilarious couple, Celine and Dan said their vows at All Saints Church in Shouldham. I started photographing groom preparations at The Bank House Hotel in King’s Lynn. It was so serene down at The Staithe there in the morning, a gorgeous start to the day. Celine had hired beautiful little cottage to get ready. With Celine being half French, I could hear the beautiful French language as I arrived to photograph bridal preps. The French language and accent is music to my ears, I think most would agree! The family were there and immediately made me coffee, its like they know me or something! As I arrived at the Church I could see the MG wedding car. Shortly after the bus arrived, and a fantastic bunch of guests descended on Shouldham Church. Wonderfully colourful characters from all over Europe, mixing and laughing, and soaking up the last of the Summer sun. The ceremony itself was charged with emotion, there was not a dry eye in the house as they said there vows. And once the nuptials had been competed we headed to The Red Barn. This was my first time photographing The Red Barn in Shouldham, and I have to say it really is a smashing place. Set in the glorious Norfolk countryside, it has bags of character and rustic charm. I am so lucky to visit so many stunning wedding venues in Norfolk. The Red Barn has become of my favourite wedding venues. Richard and his team are greats hosts, so well organised which always makes my job a lot easier. The speeches were hilarious, conducted in both languages. And the golden evening light allowed us to get some absolutely cracking couple photos. So much laughter all day long, I had face ache by the end of it all!
