Welcome to the wonderful of wedding of two wonderful people, Alexa & James. Twas a tipi day, set in the family garden with an incredible backdrop of some fabulous Norfolk fields near Diss. Well, what can I say? What a day! What a wedding! It rained some, then the sun came out, then it rained again. Lots. And then the sun came out again for the most stunning set of couple pictures. The ceremony at the Rickinghall St Mary Church was gorgeous, even though I was only allowed to loiter around the back for the ceremony. Always check with whoever is taking the ceremony I’m allowed up the front, I’m super unobtrusive and never get in the way. Promise! Got some fab photos anyways, and after a quick jaunt in the VW camper van we arrived at the reception in Redgrave. I have to say, the bridesmaids were on TOP form. From looking at the pics you’d probably think I posed them, but no. It was gentle direction as always, but they just went for it. They were just rocking it from start to finish, and by the way they are attempting to spell ‘Alexa’ with their arms in the photo if you wondered! The sun was dropping, and light was changing pretty quickly so we got a great array of couple shots in a short amount of time too. I should say Alexa and James deserve medals for organising such an amazing wedding….from a distance. They both work in Burundi as doctor’s, fantastically spirited and giving people, doing stuff that we probably all should to be honest. James got his suit made especially out there, and he took great joy in showing off the lining of his suit all day long! Hats off to them for organising something so wonderful, from so far away. The wedding day was one of pure joy, fun and some serious shape cutting on the dance floor. Hope you like the pics as much as I loved the wedding.
